Day 27. Seminole, OK.

Today we made it into Oklahoma.  We had a really scenic drive. We took the road less travelled from Hot Springs to Fort Smith. We were on state roads 270 and 71 which took us
through the countryside. Through the mountains,  small towns, lots of lakes and rivers. It's really some nice country. Despite that, it was a bit of a relief to get off the twisty 2 lane and back on the interstate!

We arrived in Seminole, OK late in the afternoon.  We're camped at a "travel center" called Bar H Bar right off Interstate 40.  Interesting concept. They have a small truck stop, gas station, a little market, a restaurant,  and out back some 25 or so full hook up RV sites and a couple of cabins. It's pretty darn convenient for us. We just needed a place to spend the night and get back on the road to Amarillo tomorrow! 

p.s. we talked to a man camped next to us, who now lives in AR. Told him we stayed at Catherine's Landing last night. He proceeded to show us pictures of 40+ pound striped bass that he caught at that very spot.
